West Texas Veterinary Specialists is the region’s premier outpatient specialty referral center, providing advanced diagnostic, medical, and surgical care for dogs and cats throughout West Texas, the Texas Panhandle, the Permian Basin, the Big Country, Eastern New Mexico, and Western Oklahoma. Unlike a traditional veterinary hospital, our center is dedicated exclusively to specialty referral medicine. Patients are seen by referral from their primary care veterinarian for advanced consultation, diagnostic testing, imaging, specialized procedures, and treatment recommendations. Once specialty care is complete, patients return to their family veterinarian for ongoing wellness and routine medical care. This collaborative approach allows pets to receive advanced specialty care close to home while preserving the trusted relationship between pet owners and their primary veterinarian.
